Our July 2025 Tango Tour: A Journey to Remember
In July 2025, our tango family came together for a magical 10-day immersion in the heart of Buenos Aires. From world-class performances and unforgettable milongas to conversations with tango legends and curated cultural experiences, every moment was crafted with love—and a whole lot of style.
💬 What Our Guests Are Saying
I’d give 100 stars if I could. This tango trip was exceptional in many ways. First, it was managed by two of the most talented lady dancers and teachers in the US, Mariela and Dagny. Second, there were eight excellent professional dancers, one for each attendee, both leaders and followers, rotating during lessons and milongas. My dance improved several levels by dancing 5 hours or more each day with these excellent professionals, who are current teachers, competition winners and show performers in their own right in BA. They are very, very talented. There were no awkward times waiting for a signal from another dancer that he/she wanted to dance. There were no wait times for anything. Third, between talks with respected tango experts in art, music, and dance, there was shopping galore, led by Dagny and Mariela. They took us to the best places for dance shoes and clothes. The tango show we watched was the best in town. Everything was first class! Thank you Mariela and Dagny!

🎙️ Artist Conversations
This year, our guests had the rare opportunity to sit down with three of Argentina’s most influential voices in the arts:
Jorge Muscia – Master of the traditional fileteado painting style
Ignacio Varchausky – Musician, cultural advocate, and founder of Orquesta El Arranque
Milena Plebs – Dancer, choreographer, and one of tango’s modern trailblazers
Their words moved us just as deeply as the music and the dance.
